Father and leader. Employed at Yellow Book USA. Enjoys disc golf and reading.
Tiffanie
Mother and teacher. Cedar Rapids Young Life Area Director. Small business owner. Enjoys music, writing and crafts.
Brice
Bright and energetic. Turned six on February 8th and is in 1st grade. Summer activities include soccer, baseball, swimming and reading.
Trent
Shy and compassionate. Turned four on April 23rd and is in Pre-K. Summer activities include baseball, swimming and learning to print the alphabet.
Nevan
Fun and outspoken. Turned two on May 21st. Summer activities include potty training and learning to count.
WAHM (work at home mom)
While I have been a stay at home mom for some time now, I have recently become a WAHM too. Not that staying at home isn’t work, or a full time job of it’s own for that matter. By WAHM I am referring to being a small business owner. I began My Kids Occasions (an event planning business) in July 2008. After much advice from friends, I thought it was finally time to put all my hobbies and creative abilities to good use. Hopefully my friends haven’t just been “being nice” and my efforts will pay off. I used to regularly keep up our family site, that was about a year ago. Now, with the business and the blog I have reentered the blogesphere and will attempt to keep you once again, regularly entertained.
