It is what it is

Boy or girl? Everyone wants to know. And everyone has an opinion. I have received so much advice and there are a lot of people who think they know what we are having based on how I am carrying, how my skin looks etc. It’s kind of funny, we didn’t find out because we didn’t want to know, yet people keep trying to guess and tell us what they think it is. Most speculate that it’s another boy. We will rejoice either way! While a little girl would be lovely, I am kind of excited about the thought of four boys too. (We’d be that much closer to our basketball team, right Grandpa!) Anyway, it is what it is and we will know soon enough. If you want to know, you’ll have to come see us in the hospital. 🙂

Boy or girl, it’s an active little thing! I am loosing sleep to the thumps and bumps beneath my belly. Even Stephen has experienced being awakened by the commotion in my tummy when it has been pressed against his back. The boys enjoy feeling the baby move. They think it’s pretty cool and their faces are so cute when there little hands get catapulted by their unborn sibling. Nevan still thinks he has a baby too. Every once in a while we’ll hear him telling the other boys not to touch his tummy because of his baby. He is awfully confused, for several reasons, but it’s pretty cute.

We are no closer to deciding on names than we were the day we found out we were expecting. I’m sure it will come to us, even if it is the day before we leave the hospital; like with Nevan’s middle name. This pregnancy has pretty much floated by. I can’t believe we are only 2 months away from meeting our newest addition.
